Below are two graphs showing the effects of Merus on Legionella and Rust in Pipe work

legigraph
rust

The first graph shows what can happen if a Merus Bio ring is fitted to pipe work where the average Legionella count is nearly 1200 positive counts before fitting.

The initial peek at week four, is believed to be hatching Legionella or spores trapped in lime scale also being released in pipe work.

This graph shows the iron content in water, where they have been experiencing high iron in the water or visible rust. Believed to be from old iron piping in the establishment.

After fitting the Merus ring we see a peak as the rust on the lining of the pipe is released and then the reading drops to reflect the incoming water dissolved iron content
